1. Product Overview
The JP series outdoor comprehensive distribution box is designed based on the requirements of power grid construction and renovation as well as the operational experience of the power grid, adhering to the principles of safety, economy, rationality, and reliability. It is a new type of outdoor comprehensive distribution box with multiple functions such as power distribution, control, protection, reactive power compensation, and power metering. It can also incorporate leakage protection functions according to user requirements. The product features a novel and reasonable structure, high protection level, convenient installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair. It complies with GB7251.12-2013 and has passed the 3C certification. It is an ideal low-voltage complete device for current power grid renovations.
The JP series outdoor comprehensive distribution box is suitable for power distribution, metering, protection, and automatic reactive power compensation at the 0.4kV voltage level.

The JP series outdoor comprehensive distribution box can have three basic functions: power distribution, compensation, and metering. Users can choose different schemes according to their needs. The specific scheme numbers are as follows:

3. Main Performance
1. Quick response, excellent compensation effect, reliable operation. An electric leakage protector can also be added according to user requirements.
2. Protection functions: overvoltage, overload, undervoltage, undercurrent, short circuit, phase loss, zero-sequence over-limit, etc.
3. Automatic operation function: automatically restarts after power is restored after a power outage, with a delay of 10 seconds.
4. It can increase the power factor of the power grid to above 0.95.

4. Installation Conditions: Suitable for installation within the cabinet. Not suitable for locations with fire, explosion hazards, severe pollution, chemical corrosion, or severe vibrations.
5. Installation Position: The inclination angle from the horizontal plane should not exceed 5º.

Capacitor groups: Generally divided into 2, 3, 4, and 5 levels. If the user has special requirements, they will be configured according to the user's requirements.
Circuits: Generally divided into 3 paths. Each path is configured according to 40% to 60% of the total capacity of the equipped transformer. If the user has special requirements, it will be configured according to the user's requirements.
Compensation method: Cyclic switching, coded switching, fuzzy control automatic switching.
Control physical quantity: Reactive power or reactive current

6. Installation and Commissioning
1. Pre-installation Inspection
Check if the equipment is intact and undamaged. Verify if the accompanying materials and accessories are complete. If any issues are found, contact the manufacturer promptly.
2. Wiring Installation
1) The product should be installed below the transformer platform and the fixing components of the distribution box should be provided by the user.
2) The installation of the product should follow the installation diagram. The incoming and outgoing lines should be connected to the transformer or low-voltage feeder overhead lines using cables or insulated conduits.
3) Inspection and Testing Before Power On
3. After the product is installed, before it is put into operation, the following items should be inspected and tested.
1) Check if the box is dry and clean.
2) Check if the operating mechanisms of the electrical components are flexible. There should be no jamming or excessive operating force.
3) Check if the main electrical components are reliably and accurately connected, and the operation of the auxiliary contacts is reliable and accurate.
4) Check if the instrument indications and the transformation ratio and polarity of the transformers are correct.
5) Check if the bus connections are good, and the insulation support pieces, installation components, and accessories are firmly and reliably installed.
6) Use a 500-volt megohmmeter to measure the insulation resistance. It should not be lower than 10 megohms. During the inspection, disconnect electronic equipment, capacitors, and devices that consume current such as coils.
4. Power-on Commissioning
1) Power Meter Commissioning
● Supply the main circuit with the rated voltage and one load. The power meter should operate normally.
● Apply the rated voltage to the main circuit. When all loads are disconnected, the rotation of the power meter should not exceed one turn.
2) Commissioning of the Reactive Power Automatic Compensation Controller
The controller's input and output threshold, delay time, overvoltage threshold are set according to relevant standards. If re-tuning is required, please adjust according to the instructions for the use of the reactive power automatic compensation controller.
7. Operating and Maintenance Precautions
1) The product must be operated, maintained and repaired by qualified electrical personnel.
2) Before conducting maintenance, the power supply must be disconnected. Wait until the compensation capacitor has discharged completely before proceeding with the repair.
3) Reliable sealing measures should be adopted at the cable inlet to ensure operational safety.
4) Circuit breakers should be regularly maintained.
5) If the main switch of the integrated distribution box is a knife switch, it must be operated by opening and closing the knife switch under no-load conditions to ensure personal safety.
6) If the user selects an integrated distribution box with a reactive power compensation device, the reactive power automatic compensation controller in the product should be operated and inspected in accordance with the user manual.
